There are numerous activities to enjoy in Mto wa Mbu, so pick one of the following excursions for your day trip:

• Cultural exploration tours, including visits to Maasai bomas and the Makonde tribe’s wood-carving skills, among other things.
• visiting local farms to see banana, fruit, and rice cultivation, eating local food, and visiting a local beer brewery
• Biking tour of the farms and other locations in the village

In the afternoon, you will eat a hot meal at a restaurant in Mto wa Mbu town. Unless alternate arrangements have been made, your guide will drive you back to Arusha town after all of the excursions for dinner and an overnight stay.
