During the short-wet season in October and November, you can usually observe these herds traveling from Kenya’s Masai Mara via the Serengeti’s northwest to the plains in the south. After the major wet season in April, May, and June, the herds slowly migrate back across the Serengeti’s western and northwestern regions. In the afternoon, you will stop for a picnic lunch in one of the designated areas before continuing your afternoon wildlife drive.
